20 Fashion Photography by Laurie Bartley
Laurie Bartley was born in Basidon Essex, England in 1977. He studied photography in Norfolk before moving to London to work as an assistant. Throughout this period Laurie began shooting his own work, which first came to notice through the energetic pages of magazines like The Face, Dazed & Confused and Pop.
Laurie's work has appeared in publications worldwide including: Vogue UK, Vogue Spain, Vogue Russia, Vogue Japan, Vogue China, Numero, Numero Tokyo, Dazed & Confuzed and V & V Man magazines. Laurie has also photographed advertising campaigns for Max Factor, Tod's, Ermenegildo Zegna, Bulgari and the award winning Diesel's Live Fast campaign. His work has also been echibited at the V&A museum in London and featured in a fashion photography retrospective at the International Centre of Photography in New York. Laurie currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
